Woot is hardly the newest thing on the block, but I got to meet Matt Rutledge, the CEO today for the first time, and he got me thinking about differing roles that editorial content can play. I have heard about the marshmallow test a few times before, but this is the first time I have seen it played out in video.
You put a marshmallow in front of a child and tell them that they can either eat it now, or they can have 2 marshmallows if they can save it until you are back in the room.
Just amazing to watch the decision making happening.

Beauty in film
About 4 years ago I bust my Sony Cybershot and then mistakenly decided to take it apart and fix it myself. Didn’t quite work out as planned and so I was left with no camera. I got a Leica D-LUX instead which got stolen about 5 weeks later and I ended up abandoning digital.
I bought 40 films for my Lomo and 25 films for my polaroid and have not taken digital pictures since.
