1000 Awesome Things Wins - Awesome!
Many congratulations to my great friend Neil who just won the prestigious Webby Award for his fantastic site 1000 Awesome Things. The award is thoroughly deserved, and great recognition for Neil’s consistently excellent writing as well as the massive readership that he has developed over the last year or so.
This category particularly is a really big deal - last year’s winner was postsecret, which is still one of my favorite places on the web (and my highlight of SXSW 2008 for that matter). In 2005, the award was won by boingboing. I am hoping that this award will mean similar success and recognition for Neil and his work.
Amazing achievement from an amazing guy. Hats off to Neil.
