Thought it was time to post an upbeat track, after some slow burners over the last couple of weeks. This weeks track is from the sometimes questionable, always fearless Simian Mobile Disco. I don’t listen to much house music anymore, but I liked this as soon as I heard it.
Pretty clear throwback to the classic house sound of 12 years ago, but really well executed. And the rolicking vocals of Beth Ditto don’t hurt either, bringing some nice cut to the bouncing rhythms. Hands in the air.
