Three great tapas spots

Weirdly enough, my last 3 meals have all been in awesome small restaurants specializing in snack food. Even more weirdly, all 3 were really great.

I had lunch yesterday at Snack with my friend Vinay, who knows more about public and private market investing than anyone else I know. We had a great conversation about whether the financial crisis might spark a dramatic increase in crime in New York. All over the fantastic lamb sandwich and a tasty sour cherry juice - the food is the draw here for sure.

Dinner was at ‘Ino, talking about new opportunities with Ant and Aaron and eating the shrimp salad and way too many of the bruschetta’s. I love the atmosphere in there, the wait is never as long as you think it is going to be and it still feels undiscovered, even though it very clearly is nowadays.

And lunch today was at Bocca Lupo in Cobble Hill. The food was great, and while it was a bit quiet today, I think that it is probably a fun spot in the evening and its going to be fantastic when the summer rolls around.
