Notes

The best show on radio.

I have been spending some time in a new office over the last couple of days, and am pleased to have found an open DJ policy - everyone gets a turn controlling the music.

I’ll be pushing for reggae hour next week, which is the foundation of any fully functioning office, but in the mean time it has meant a chance to share Rob da Bank with new listeners.

Rob da Bank’s leftfield show on Radio 1 has been a must listen to me for the last 8 years. I have never found a radio DJ with such an ability to break new artists way ahead of their time (with one notable exception), and the quality of music on his show is spot-on, week after week. Good on the BBC for being unwaiveringly behind both of them.

He has recently added a second show, playing right afterwads, showing casing the favorite music of some of the artists that he respects the most - a real bonus as it basically doubles the length of his show.

If you enjoy radio broadcasts, I recommend adding Rob’s show to your listening device of choice.
